I. Introduction of "Let's Go, Brandon!"
"Let's Go Brandon" is a political slogan that is widely used as a minced oath for "Fuck Joe Biden" in reference to Joe Biden who is the 46 president of the United States. Chants of "Fuck Joe Biden" were heard at sporting events beginning in early September 2021. "Let's Go Brandon" came into use after NBC reporter Kelli Stavast incorrectly described a chant of "Fuck Joe Biden" by spectators at the 2021 Sparks 300 at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama as "Let's go, Brandon" during a televised interview with Brandon Brown who is an American professional stock car racing driver on October 2nd, 2021 which occurred after he had won the race that was shortened due to darkness. The slogan became well known through use by Republican politics and critics of Biden. The phrase quickly spread to popular culture, politics, and rap songs using the phrase placing high on record chants.

II. The Reason Why "Let's Go, Brandon!" is Nominated as 10 Vogue Words in the World for 2021.

Analysis
John McWhorter who is an American linguist with a specialty in creole languages, sociolects, and Black English analyzed the linguistic attributes of the chant in The Atlantic, likening the use of "Brandon" to a hlonipha or Avoidance speech which is a substitution of a forbidden word. He wrote that the anti-Biden euphemism has a similar tone to the word SNAFU which stands for "Situation Normal All Fucked Up" or to the word "cuckservatives" which is used by traditional conservatives and alt-right sympathisers to describe mainstream conservatives perceived as being in fact liberals. He also described the Let's Go, Brandon phenomenon as "simply fascinating", and a "wild, wooly kink in the intersection of language, politics, wit, and creativity.
Kaitlyn Tiffany who is a staff writer at "The Atlantic" wrote how supporters of Joe Biden attempted to create a meme of their own, "Thank you, Brandon". She found this slogan "embarrassing" because it does not make sense for Biden supporters to replace his name with someone else.
On November 23, 2021 opinion place for The Washington Post, Marc Thissen who is the former chief speechwriter for President George W. Bush commented that the chant was tame compared to what has been said about other presidents. Initially, Thiessen was not a fan of the chant, but he concluded with his comments that it is a completely harmless and humorous way for Americans to express their frustration at a flailing and failing presidency.
Politics
Republican politicians use the phrase in a public. On October 21, Republican congressman Bill Posey concluded that remarks on the House floor with "Let's go, Brandon". Texas Governor Greg Abbott used the phrase on Twitter on October 22nd. He expressed the popularity of the phrase to frustration with Biden's disastrous policies including his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, Afghanistan, and the border crisis. The following week, Republican Representative Jeff Duncan wore a face mask with the phrase imprinted on it on the House floor. Senator Ted Cruz posed with a "Let's Go, Brandon" sign that was hung in Houston at the 2021 World Series. The anti-Biden chant appeared in Georgia when the Atlanta Braves hosted game 4 of the World Series with former President Donald Trump in attendance.
Chants of the phrase occurred at the election headquarters of Glenn Youngkin during his victorious 2021 Virginia gubernatorial election on November 2nd. On the following day, while he provided commentary on his upset victory, Florida governor Ron DeSantis said "When you look at the Biden or the Brandon administration, to cheers and applause from the crowd, who began chanting "Let's Go Brandon." A few weeks later, DeSantis purposefully chose Brandon, Florida as the venue to sign an anti-vaccine mandate bill. The choice of venue was motivated by the "Let's go Brandon" slogan.
On November 4th, Lauren Boebert who is Congresswoman, businesswoman, and gun-rights activist wore a red dress with "Let's Go, Brandon" in white lettering on the back while she met with the former US president, Donald Trump. The dress was similar to the "Tax the Rich" dress worn by another Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez at the Met Gala appearance two months ago. Lauren Boebert commented on her account on Twitter that "It's not a phrase. It's a movement!#LGB".
When Joe Biden visited to offer condolences and viewed the destruction of the tornado outbreak in Dawson Springs and Mayfield, Kentucky on December 15, there were some shouts of "Let's Go Brandon" from small groups of protestors.
"Let's Go Brandon" spreads out around the world. During a COVID-19 protest in Wellington, New Zealand, a man saw a sign with the phrase "Let's Go Brandon & Jacinda" in reference to New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.

Loza Alexander
After "Let's Go Brandon" went viral, an anti-Biden rap song called "Let's Go Brandon" was recorded by Loza Alexander who is an American rapper, singer, and producer. The song first went viral on TikTok before it rose to number one on the iTunes Store Top Hip-Hop/Rap Songs list and number two on the platform's Top Songs list on October 18th. Alexander's song reached number 38 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week of November 6.
Bryson Gray
Bryson Gray who is a Christian conservative rapper released another song with the same title so that the song reached number one on iTunes. It debuted at number 28 on the US Hot 100. The music video for Gray's song which including the line "Biden said the jab stop the spread. It was lies" was taken down by YouTube for containing "medical misinformation"; however, the fact check on YouTube might be just an opinion since the Omicron variant was detected from 4 vaccinated people in Botswana.

Forgiato Blow who is an American rapper and famous as the nephew of Donald Trump released a country rap. On October 27, iTunes had different "Let's Go Brandon" recordings at number one, two, four, and eight.

On October 28, two electronic road signs were broken into and changed to post the anti-Biden slogan.
On October 29, an on-duty airline pilot for Southwest Airlines allegedly said "Let's Go, Brandon" over the public address system. The Southwest incident occurred one week after the union representing United Airlines pilots sent out a memo to discourage pilots from using the emergency frequency 121.5 for communicating personal opinions because they had been using it to say the phrase.
On November 1st, NBC News broadcasted that Palmetto State Armory which is a firearms company had begun marketing ammunition stamped with the slogan.
On November 3rd, city officials in Brandon, Minnesota, reported six-city signs had the words" Let's Go" placed in front of the name of the town.
In early November, a crypto coin called "Let's Go Brandon" or LGB began trading.
On October 24th, North Carolina Republicans sold buttons featuring the phrase at the North Carolina State. Four days later, the Trump campaign began selling T-shirts featuring the phrase. In December 2021, a chain of five stores in New England selling "Let's Go Brandon" and pro-Trump clothing and other merchandise were re-branded as Let's Go Brandon Stores.
On December 4th, a boat decorated with Christmas lights spelling out "FJB" and "Let's Go, Brandon" during the annual Yorktown Lighted Boat Parade in Yorktown, Virginia. It was initially declared as winning "Best in Show" at the conclusion of the event. Later, the Yorktown Foundation issued a statement about the boat having an "overt political message" and disqualified the entry.
