As for The Difference Between the Overseas Media and the Japanese Media.
In this blog, I am going to explain the difference between overseas media and Japanese media and the reason why there is a difference and causes this difference between them according to Peng Shuai's incident.
I. Who Is Peng Shuai?
Peng Shuai is a professional Chinese woman tennis player and has been champion in doubles by the WTA which stands for Women's Tennis Association. At the 2013 Wimbledon Championships and the 2014 French Open, Peng Shuai won the ladies' doubles championship twice with Su-Wei Hsieh who is a Taiwanese female Tennis player.
II. What Is Her Accusation Against Zhang Gaoli?
Peng Shuai's incident is that Peng Shuai accused Zhang Gaoli who was a former senior Chinese vice premier of sexually assaulting her SNS account on Weibo, but her SNS account is frozen and deleted by the management of Weibo because the management Weibo belongs to the CCP and Weibo is the Chinese SNS. After that, Peng Shuai is still missing currently. Because of that, Novak Djokovic who is the current Tennis Champion in a male single division, and Naomi Osaka who is one of the professional single tennis players ask the CCP "Where is Peng Shuai now?"The IOC, the UN, and WTA ask the CCP for proof to prove that Peng Shuai is still alive; however, the IOC, the UN, and WTA is still considering the cancelation of the 2022 Bejing Olympics if she should be passing away or retiring herself from her tennis life.

It is from the main paragraph in this blog. I am going to explain the difference between overseas media and Japanese media by introducing a couple of media from the English media and the Japanese media.
In the Case of Epoch Times
Peng Shuai who is a former number one ranked doubles player accused China's former vice premier, Zhang Gaoli of sexual coercion before she became his mistress. Peng Shuai posted the sexual allegation on her Weibo account which is just like Twitter on Tuesday, November 2nd. Although the post was deleted less than an hour after it was published, a screenshot of the post was widely circulated online.

Peng Shuai decided to confess on a social post. She accused former deputy premier and member of the Communist Politburo Standing Committee Zhang Gaoli of violence and rape. She used the famous #MeToo to denounce what happened.
Peng Shuai confessed clearly sexual abuse and a forced relationship that would have been forcing her to spend and sad years. The post was unfortunately deleted after a few hours due to too much hype in China, but some parts of the text were reported in time by some of the major national newspapers.

In the case of the New York Post
According to her social media post that was deleted quickly, Peng Shuai who is a former top-ranked doubles player and got 23 tour-level doubles titles including Grand Slams st Wimbledon in 2013 and the French Open in 2014 was forced to have a sexual relationship by Zhang Gaoli who is a former vice-premier and member of the party's all-powerful Politburo Standing Committee despite she refused to do that. She also wrote that they had sex once seven years ago and she had feelings for him after that.
The Associated Press was not able to verify the authenticity of her post which was made late Tuesday night by her verified account on Weibo which is a Chinese social media platform. The post was deleted soon after, frozen her account on Weibo, and not able to ask them for comment.

Despite CNN is one of the leftist media and anti-Trump media, CNN also broadcasts that Peng Shuai who is a former Wimbledon and French Open doubles champion accused Zhang Gaoli who is retired Vice Premier of sexual assault.
Nectar Gan who is China's Reporter for CNN digital worldwide based in Hong Kong and Yong Xiong who is a Newsdesk researcher in CNN international and produces multimedia content about Asia especially a focus on China reported that she was forced to have a sexual relationship with Zhang Gaoli who is a retired Vice Premier on Weibo which is a Chinese Twitter-like social media platform.
CNN also was not able to verify the authenticity of the more than 1,600 world posts and reached out to Peng Shuai and the Chinese State Council Information Office which handles press inquires for the central government.

IV. Japanese Media
In the case of Yomiuri News Paper
Yomiuri News Paper broadcasts that Peng Shuai who is a Chinese professional Tennis player posted the confession on Weibo which is a Chinese social media like Twitter that she had an affair with Zhang Gaoli who is a former vice-premier. After that, her account was deleted. The content of the post is still unknown, but the ripple of this post spreads out on the internet.
Zhang Gaoli was a managing member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Communist Party which is the highest leadership of the Xi Jinping administration from 2012 to 2017. Peng Shuai is a professional tennis player who was a champion in female doubles at Wimbledon. According to her post, she committed adultery when Zhang Gaoli was a leader in Tianjin City. There was contact after the retirement of his political life. Then, she had an affair again at his house.

Peng Shuai posted a confession on Weibo that she had an affair with Zhang Gaoli who was a former vice president and a member of the Chinese Communist Party Highest Leadership. The confession was deleted instantly, but the content spreads out on the internet. The shock is still spreading because of an extremely unusual situation.

V. Conclusion and My Opinion
That's all about this blog. Before I am going to move on to the conclusion and my opinion, I am going to ask you a question. What is the difference between overseas media and Japanese media for this incident when you read this blog?
The difference between overseas media and Japanese media for this incident is that liberal and conservative overseas media broadcasts that Peng Shuai accused Zhang Gaoli of sexual assault or rape clearly; however, Japanese mass media broadcasts that Peng Shuai confessed on SNS that she had an affair with Zhang Gaoli. Liberal and conservative overseas media state that she was raped by Zhang Gaoli or he committed a sexual assault against her. Compared to Japanese media, they claim that Zhang Gaoli committed adultery with Peng Shuai or Zhang Gaoli betrayed his wife with Peng Shuai. Therefore, Japanese media treated her as a bad woman who stole Zhang Gaoli even if she agreed to his offer or not.
Indeed, there is a different meaning between sexual assault and an affair obviously. Sexual assault is an act in which one intentionally sexually touches another person without the person's content. In addition, sexual assault is that the one is forced a man or a woman to engage in a sexual act against their will physically. It is including child sexual abuse, groping, rape, or the torture of the person in a sexual manner.
An affair is a stealing act that a husband or a wife is betraying his wife or her husband by dating out with and making sex with the 3rd person who agrees to their offer or not. It causes divorce, payment of consolation money, untrustworthiness at work, and dismissal.
In my opinion, all Olympics athletes must watch and pay attention to Peng Shuai's accusation against Zhang Gaoli up to the last even if she was raped by Zhang Gaoli or she agreed to adultery with him because this scandal affects the boycotting of the 2022 Winter Beijing Olympics and human rights of all Olympics athlete. If she should be still missing or be erased by the CCP, it proves that China can not compensate Olympics athlete's life.
