In this blog, I am going to explain from the beginning of the Wuhan virus pandemic to the current, appearance of variants, and the introduction of mutant variants that is classified as a variant of concern by CDC and WHO mainly to review the Wuhan virus pandemic with my past blogs and news and analyze when the Wuhan virus began, the fact of the Wuhan virus, and the future. Currently, the number of infected people with the Wuhan virus is increasing every single day. In this paragraph, I am going to describe the characteristic of various varients.
Beta Variant
The Beta variant was detected in South Africa in May 2020 for the first time. The Beta variant second wave is spreading out around the world. Alpha Variant
The Alpha variant was discovered in Great Britain in September 2020. Dr. Prakash Sinha who is a consultant at Pulmonary Medicine & T.B Paras HMRI Hospital, Patna explains that the concrete Gamma variant does not identify yet; however, it seems to have a high rate of transmission because surge cases in Brazil in December 2020 is linked to the Gamma variant and makes it an important strain to watch out for.

Mu Variant

Omicron Variant
Omicron Variant was discovered in South Africa. Then, it was detected in Israel, the Netherlands, and Hong Kong. It causes an increased risk of reinfection more than the Delta variant. This variant has been classified as the variant of concern by the WHO. Because of this variant, European governments and the US government decided to ban traveling from South Africa and seven other African countries.

Deltacron Variant
Leondios Kostrikis who is a professor of sciences at the University of Cyprus discovered and called the new strain the Deltacron on a small island country in the eastern Mediterranean Sea due to the identification of Omicron-like genetic signatures within the delta genomes. 10 of the mutations from Omicron have been found in the new variant. Kostrikis and his team found a total of 25 cases of the virus thus far and are still searching for clues of the variant's possible impacts on the body.
V. My Analysis
