Introduction of Avigan
Avigan is an antiviral medication to cure influenza in Japan. It was developed and manufactured by Toyama Chemical which is one of the Fujifilm groups and was approved for medical use in Japan in 2014. Fujifilm licensed it to Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceutical Corporation of China. It became a generic drug to be allowed the company to produce it in China.
Medical Use
Avigan approved to treat influenza in Japan; however, it is only indicated for novel influenza rather than seasonal influenza. As of 2020, the probability of resistance developing appears low.
Side Effects
- pregnant women and women less than 2 weeks after sexual intercourse without contraceptives aren't allowed to administrate because teratogenicity is confirmed in experiments with pregnant animals.
- Due to this reason, people must avoid sexual intercourse during the period of administration in which the drug remains in the body and for 7 days after the end of the administration.
- I recommend people watch porno videos or movies such as PornHub, XVIDEO, and RedTube for 7 days or after the end of the administration if they are still dissatisfied with their desires and can not tolerate them instead of going to sex shops.
Research for the Chinese Virus
China
Avigan studied in China and Japan in February 2020. This study on 80 people in comparison to Kaletra which is a fixed-dose combination medication for the treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS found that it reduced viral clearance time and 91% of people improved CT scans with few side effects. The limitation of this study was not randomized double-blinded and placebo-controlled. This pill is approved for the use of clinical trials of the new coronavirus disease in China. Due to the Chinese virus, Avigan was approved for sale in February 2020 in China. The Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China at a COVID-19 themed press conference published data from the clinical trials of Avigan against COVID-19 on March 17th. According to the data, Avigan showed good clinical efficacy against the disease. In addition, its tablet form makes it easily accessible which helps to reduce the burden on medical resources by enabling non-critically ill patients to take the medicine at home. Once Avigan launched in the Chinese market, the Chinese State Council decided to list it as one of the Major Anti-pandemic Materials, and the Chinese government unified the allocation of Avigan supplies. Ever since the outbreak of the Chinese virus, the medication used to support over 30 countries in battling the Chinese virus and achieved good results. Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceutical Corporation who recently has been honored by the Chinese State Council as the “Ordnance Factory”, manufactured all Avigan tablets. Avigan was approved in China for the treatment of the Chinese virus.
Italy
The Italian government approved Avigan for experimental use against the Chinese virus and began conducting trials in three regions most affected by the disease; however, the Italian Pharmaceutical Agency judged the public that the existing evidence in support of this drug is scant and preliminary.
Russia
The Russian government decided to accept Avigan for the treatment of the Chinese virus in the hospital settings in Russia on May 29, 2020, after an ongoing open-label randomized clinical trial had recruited 60 subjects on favipiravir. According to the government clinical trial registry, "this study COVID-FPR-01 is expected to recruit 390 subjects overall and finish by December 31, 2020." The Russian Health Ministry approved a generic version of favipiravir named Avifavir on May 30, 2020. Russian Direct Investment Fund backed the development of Avifavir and found it highly effective in the first phase of clinical trials. The Russian Ministry of Health approved one more drug based on favipiravir on June 25, 2020.
Comparison of Price for Avigan and Remdesivir
This paragraph is the main of my own blog and the reason why I want to depend on Avigan if I should be infected by the Chinese virus. I'd like people to pay attention to this paragraph. This paragraph is connected to the title of this blog mainly.
Remdesivir

Avigan
- Avigan costs from 31 dollars to 140 dollars in 2mg to 100mg.
- The Japanese government is going to price Avigan more or less than 50 dollars if it is approved for the treatment of the Chinese virus.
My Opinion
If people should be infected by the Chinese virus, I recommend they use Avigan to recover from the virus because Avigan is cheaper than Remdesivir. Also, Remdeisivir has side effects for example you affect respiratory failure, organ impairment, low albumin, low potassium, low count of red blood cells, low count of platelets, and yellow discoloration of the skin. Do I need to pay 2340 dollars again even if I cured the new coronavirus once? I would spend five hundred thousand yen or five thousand dollars to use Remdesivir twice if I should be infected by the Chinese virus. If the Japanese government approves Avigan or Favipiravir for the treatment of the Chinese virus, we wouldn't need the Chinese and Russian vaccines since they have side effects more than Avigan and Remdeisvir. The Japanese government should present Avigan to the US, Brazil, India, and European countries. If you want to go overseas, you should purchase Avigan before you go.
